Care Instructions

Notes for using your starter whisks:

  • Whisks are not dishwasher-safe. Clean by hand only and avoid submerging the entire whisk in water.
  • The handles are coated with wax. To keep the finish smooth and water-resistant, treat the handle with mineral oil or board wax periodically.
  • Avoid using the whisk with large quantities of *very* stiff starters or other stiff liquids. The metal can bend if forced, or come loose from the handle if abused. If it bends, you should be able to gently flex it back into shape.

Materials: handmade wooden handle with a stainless steel whisk head.

  • Hand wash only, do not submerge fully
  • Not dishwasher safe
  • Treat the handle with mineral oil periodically
  • Avoid very stiff starters that could bend it
