Food Safe Mineral Oil 50ml
A 50ml bottle of food safe mineral oil for looking after the wooden tools in your kitchen: spurtles, dough whisk handles, bread lames, rolling pins and boards.
Wood that is washed and left to dry out can turn pale, rough and start to crack. A thin coat of oil soaks into the grain and keeps it from drying out.
How to use it
- Wash the wooden tool and let it dry completely
- Rub a small amount of oil into the wood with a clean cloth or paper towel
- Leave it to soak in, then wipe off anything left on the surface
- Repeat whenever the wood looks dry or pale
Not for cane or wood pulp bannetons, which should be kept dry and floured.
